Osijek Mathematical Gazette
Osijek Mathematical Gazette (Osječki matematički list) is the official publication of the Department of Mathematics, J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek in cooperation with the Osijek Mathematical Society. Osijek Mathematical Gazette is intended for secondary and primary school pupils and teachers as well as for mathematics and computer science students. It publishes papers in the fields of mathematics and computer science, as well as topics from other fields, if they are related to the basic profile of the journal.
Osječki matematički list is financially supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
This journal has been published since 2001.

Aims & Scope
Osječki matematički list is publishing professional papers articles from all fields of mathematics and computer science . The journal was initiated in 2001. It is published regularly - twice a year.
There is no page charge for papers
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript is peer reviewed, according to the following procedures:
Initial manuscript evaluation. The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. In many cases, the Editors will return a paper promptly to its author(s) at this stage because it clearly does not match the journal's stated interests or level of quality. Submissions that meet the minimum criteria are normally passed on to at least 2 experts for review.
Type of peer review. The Osječki matematički list employs single-blind reviewing, in which the reviewer is unknown to the author, but the identity of the author is known to the reviewer.
Final report. Referees advise the Editors. The Editors' decision to accept or to reject a manuscript will be sent promptly to the author, with suitably detailed explanations.
The Editors' decision is final. The Editors are responsible for the final decision to accept or to reject a given manuscript, and there the process ends.
Publication Frequency
This journal publishes one volume of two issues per year.
Open Access
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. The journal has an open access to full text of all papers through the Hrcak database.
There is no subscription fee or pay per view or the reprint fee for the articles of this journal.
Revenue Sources
The journal is financially supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, and by its publisher Department of Mathematics of the University of Osijek.
Author Guidelines
This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges.
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published.
Papers should be submitted in one of the following languages: Croatian, English.
Manuscripts should be submitted by mail to the Editor-in-Chief or to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The corresponding author will receive all correspondence, including an initial acknowledgment and the decision, by email.
Initial submission (manuscript for review). The submission file should be a single PDF created from LaTeX source (avoid false converting software!) prepared according to the journal's LaTeX class file oml.cls. The easiest way to prepare your manuscript is to download the style file and fill in this LaTeX template file (see corresponding PDF file).
The manuscript (written in Croatian or English), should contain the following elements:
- Full title (up to 150 characters)
- Author names and affiliations. For each author add his/her affiliation which should include the full postal address and the country name. If avilable, specify the e-mail address of each author. Clearly indicate who is the corresponding author of the paper.
- Keywords (at least two, up to six key words).
- Main text
References. References in the text are cited by numbers in square brackets. A full list of references should be given at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order by the first author's last name and formatted as it is shown below:

All figures must be in EPS black-and-white format. To include your graphics files into the LaTeX code, use one of the standard figure inclusion commands (e.g. includegraphics) and the standard LaTeX figure packages such as graphics and graphicx.
Revised manuscript. Revised manuscripts MUST be uploaded within 2 weeks (for minor revisions) or 4 weeks (for major revisions) of authors being notified of conditional acceptance pending satisfactory revision. Revisions must still be uploaded as a single PDF generated from the revised LaTeX source files.
Final submission (accepted paper for publication). If a submission is accepted, the contact person will receive instructions for submitting LaTeX source of final version of accepted paper, as well as all figures in EPS format.
Proof correction. The corresponding author will receive a proof of the paper for checking before it is published. Authors should keep in mind that reading proofs is their responsibility. Corrections should therefore be clear and unambiguous. The main aim of proofreading is to correct errors that may have occurred during the production process, and not to modify the content of the paper. Please correct your galley proofs and return them within 5 working days.
Note: The authors will receive a print copy of the journal. All published paper will be available to download for everyone without any charge.
